Patty Mears, Principal

Patty has extensive experience in the corporate world as an executive and as a business owner.  She is a CPA, has an MBA and is ACC certified by the International Coach Federation. Her key strengths include leadership coaching, performance improvement, team building and training.  She is skilled at identifying organizational and leadership issues as well as orchestrating the implementation of effective solutions.  She spent over a decade creating and implementing organizational development and employee engagement programs, where she facilitated cross-functional teams and independently developed and delivered training and coaching modules for a Fortune 500 company.  Patty also has conceptualized and led numerous offsite executive retreats.  She has a breadth of experience delivering coaching and consulting services both as an independent consultant and as a professional at E&Y and PwC.

Patty believes in the value of continuous improvement for achieving the highest level of personal and organizational success.  This requires a commitment to constantly reevaluate the present state to identify key strengths and opportunities.  She prides herself on being a catalyst for change and transformation, and has led numerous change management programs with a focus on leadership improvement, employee empowerment and enhanced communications.

Her philosophy is to constantly strive for your maximum potential, but also enjoy the journey.  She is tenacious in her endeavors to help leaders and organizations achieve their loftiest goals, yet she typically develops approaches that are more creative in nature, containing elements of fun.  Both executives and employees have found her unique methods to be engaging and inspiring, resulting in a more sustainable change.

Patty applies the same philosophy to her coaching clients.  She is direct and challenging, yet also very supportive and collaborative, as she respects the concept that effective coaching needs to be a relationship of equals.  Patty’s measure of success is when she exceeds the expectations of her clients.
